(More customer reviews)I thought the guide was well organized and easy to use. The book is divided into categories of engineering specialties. Then all graduate schools are listed in alphabetical order with a brief description of the school (address, degrees offered, students enrolled, faculty ratios, male/female ratios, degrees awarded, average tuition and financial aid, degree and entrance requirements, contact info). The best part was the fact that every school who offers a graduate program in the engineering area was listed in alphabetical order. The schools could also choose to pay for an in-depth description of the engineering school or of a specific program. The descriptions are handy, but since the school has to pay for them only about half of the schools I looked at had one. The only thing the guide was missing was an index by state within a certain program, so if you just want to look at in-state schools you have to skim through all of the listings. Overall, the guide worked for me. I got all the contact information I wanted in one afternoon, but have used the guide multiple times since then. This guide was great for deciding where to start when beginning to look at graduate schools.
